Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls Welcomes Seven Inductees into the Loudoun Women’s Hall of Fame

LEESBURG, VA May 13, 2025 — The Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls (LCWAG) proudly welcomed the 2025 class of inductees into the Loudoun Women’s Hall of Fame during a prestigious ceremony held today at River Creek Club. The event honored seven extraordinary women whose leadership, service, and resilience have left a lasting legacy in Loudoun County and beyond.

The Loudoun Women’s Hall of Fame recognizes women who have made profound and sustained contributions to their communities while serving as role models and advocates for the next generation. These honorees exemplify excellence in a wide range of fields, from education and community leadership to public health and the arts.

The 2025 inductees are:

  • Kim Tapper, Performing Arts

  • Crystal Lily-Wheeler, Athletics

  • Rae Mitchell, Education

  • Danielle Nadler, Community Leadership

  • Jennifer Montgomery, Community Leadership

  • Lisa Jones, Trailblazer

  • Breana Turner, Trailblazer

Each of these women was selected from a slate of 17 nominees, each put forward by members of the community and chosen by LCWAG’s Executive Committee. The process recognizes their professional accomplishments, character, mentorship, and dedication to uplifting women and girls in Loudoun.

“Each of these women represents the best of Loudoun County—visionaries, advocates, and changemakers who have uplifted those around them while building stronger systems for the next generation,” LCWAG Board Chair Stacey Metcalfe said. “Their collective achievements are inspiring, and it is our honor to shine a light on their stories through the Hall of Fame.”

The Loudoun Women’s Hall of Fame celebration serves as more than just a ceremony, as it honors the legacy of leadership and giving back. LCWAG aims to preserve and share the stories of these women with the broader community.

“As we take this time to honor our inductees, share stories, and connect with one another, let us remember that we’re part of a larger movement, one that champions equality, empowerment, and the triumph of all women in our community. This occasion holds deep significance not just for us today but for the generations to come,” said Lorna Campbell Clarke, LCWAG Board Secretary and Co-Chair of the Hall of Fame Committee.

The Loudoun Women’s Hall of Fame was created by LCWAG in 2023 to celebrate women across all sectors - public service, business, arts, health, education, and more - who have shown exemplary leadership and created lasting positive change.

The biennial nomination period for the Loudoun Women’s Hall of Fame is expected to return in early 2027. To learn more about LCWAG, support future initiatives, or explore the Hall of Fame project, visit lcwag.org/hall-of-fame
