LCWAG Appoints Lisa McGrail as New Executive Director

The Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls (LCWAG) announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Lisa McGrail, CNP, as Executive Director.
McGrail brings more than 40 years of nonprofit and community engagement experience, deep roots in Loudoun County, and a longstanding commitment to supporting women, girls and mission-driven organizations throughout the region.
Since its founding, LCWAG has advanced leadership-focused initiatives that promote education, equity and opportunity for women and girls across Loudoun County.
Its signature programs include the Girl emPower Summit, Woman emPower Summit, Voices of Loudoun Women community research, Human Trafficking Awareness & Prevention Initiative and the Loudoun Women’s Hall of Fame. LCWAG’s growing impact was recently recognized by the Loudoun Chamber, which named the organization the 2024 Nonprofit of the Year.
Most recently, McGrail founded Tall Order Solutions LLC, providing operational, fundraising and organizational support to nonprofits across Northern Virginia. She has also held leadership and development roles with Leadership Fairfax, Women Giving Back and the Theresa Sondra Jacobs Foundation, where her work focused on fundraising, volunteer engagement, strategic partnerships and organizational growth.
“Lisa brings a strong combination of nonprofit leadership, operational expertise and authentic community connection,” said LCWAG Board Chair Natasha Magrath. “Her experience supporting mission-driven organizations, combined with her deep understanding of Loudoun County and passion for empowering women and girls, makes her exceptionally well suited to lead LCWAG into its next chapter.”
McGrail’s career has centered on strengthening organizations and expanding community support through volunteer management, fundraising, event leadership and partnership development. Her work with organizations serving women and families, including Women Giving Back and Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, reflects her continued commitment to creating opportunities and strengthening support systems for women and girls in the region.
“It is an honor to join LCWAG and continue building on the organization’s important work throughout Loudoun County,” said McGrail. “I look forward to working alongside the Board, volunteers, partners and community members to expand opportunities for women and girls and strengthen the impact of LCWAG’s mission.”
As Executive Director, McGrail will work closely with the Board of Directors to oversee daily operations, support strategic growth, strengthen partnerships and enhance organizational sustainability as LCWAG continues to evolve and serve the community.
